Gordo's back in the 24 hour hot seat!

ROCKSTAR RACING’S Craig Gordon is set to return to Solo 24hr MTB racing.ROCKSTAR RACING’S Craig Gordon is set to return to Solo 24hr MTB racing.

Craig was the 2006 “24 hours of Adrenaline” World Champion.

He and ROCKSTAR RACING team mate Hamish Elliot became legends in the world of mountain biking as the heroic win in 2006 was documented in Gripped Film’s 24 SOLO.

Despite having pushed his body beyond its physical limits to win the event , Craig is ready to do it all again.

He has entered this year’s event to be held at Mt Stromlo in Canberra in October. Whilst Craig has not raced a solo 24 hour event since 2007, the decision to race was made easier due to the event being located on home soil. “Racing these events is not just about physical preparation but coping with the mental pressures as well. I hope to be a little more prepared this time rather than just turning up with an esky and my bike!”

Craig’s preparation will include competing in most of the nation’s premier marathon events as well as many hours spent on the bike.

More information regarding Craig Gordon’s World Championship win in 2006 is available at the website of Gripped Film’s 24 SOLO.
